Food was ok, didn’t have much flavor and the quality was not there. Honestly it didn’t taste fresh. I was missing the chipotle sauce for the empanadas.The drinks were amazing though. Service was ehh, the server was polite but he rarely checked in with us and would take long and forget small things we would ask like water or sauce. I do not recommend coming here its overrated and expensive. I saw the TikTok videos thats what brought me here. But its not what they sell. Overpriced $13 for 4 shrimp and cheese empanadas is wild lol $10 for micheladas

The food was horrible, the rice was bag , the shrimp was over cooked and the salad was store bought . I ordered a steak fajitas

I wanted to really like this spot and I’m sad because I don’t want to write a bad review for a local spot but tell me why I ordered the guacamole and it was almost $10 and this is what they gave me.. it was literally half an avocado cut up and no tortilla chips so I spent $10 on a half an avocado … make it make sense. Also I got the ceviche and it was okay. Missed the mark.

My husband and I went during breakfast time (about 11:15am) and the place was empty, to start you off, they give a complimentary small bowl of ceviche with tostadas, I ordered the langostinos and boy were they spicy! So if you're not into spicy, let them know, but they were really good! The waitress that attended to us was really nice and very attentive. This restaurant unfortunately is in Waukegan and is a little over an hour away from Chicago, but if in the area again, would definitely stop by again.

We were four people that arrived at 6:35pm and told the waitress that we have an 8pm event at the Genesee theater. She promised that she'll make sure to let the kitchen know. We ordered 3 main dishes, an order of Guacamole and 3 drinks. The drinks arrived in a reasonable amount of time but then the wait started, and we waited, and waited, and kept reminding the waitress about our tickets. If we weren't short on time we would have walked out to look for another restaurant. We got our food order 50 minutes later which left us about 10 minutes to eat. A very unpleasant experience. I get that a restaurant may be short on staff on occasion (but Friday evening?) but we never even received an apology. To add insult to injury, only when I got home I noticed (1) we had to pay extra for paying with a credit card and what is worse (2) they added 17% gratuity to the bill without telling us. With the service we received I would have left nothing for the 1st time in my life. This was our 1st and last time at this restaurant.
